Mr. Qin specializes in aircraft finance and leasing, general banking and finance matters, bond issuances and asset-backed securitization, and financial institutions establishment and regulatory compliance. His legal services mainly include designing transaction structures, drafting and reviewing transaction documents, legal research, due diligence, representing clients in negotiations, advising on legal matters, issuing legal opinions, and translating contracts.
Mr. Qin has represented Chinese airlines, domestic and overseas leasing companies and banks in many of kinds of financing transactions in respect of aircraft, engine and other large equipment, including domestic and cross-border operating lease transactions and finance lease transactions, tax-bonded structure lease transactions, lease novation transactions, re-finance transactions and other aircraft finance transactions. Mr. Qin has also advised domestic and foreign clients on matters regarding the cross-border lease of aircraft, breach of contract by domestic lessees and aircraft retrieval from the perspective of PRC law.
Mr. Qin is familiar with the Cape Town Convention and registration rules of the CAAC Rights Registry, has represented domestic and foreign clients in numerous matters including applying for ownership, mortgages, possessory or priority rights registration with the CAAC Rights Registry, applying for authorization codes from CAAC, registrations with the International Registry and IDERA filings in China.
Mr. Qin has participated in many types of supply chain finance (SCF) transactions, has participated in many bond issuance and asset-backed securitization projects, and has also participated in many financial institution establishment and investment projects.
