Mr. Zhang focuses on corporate, regulatory compliance, and transactional services for life sciences, biopharmaceutical, medical and healthcare industries, including biosecurity and human genetic resource issues, clinical trial matters, product marketing authorizations, GxP compliance, anti-trust and drug licensing and collaboration.  Before joining Han Kun, Mr. Zhang was as an associate with Shanghai Qinli Law Firm.  He also previously interned from 2018 through 2021 with the Shanghai Arbitration Commission, the Commercial Court of the Xuhui District People's Court in Shanghai, and JunHe (Shanghai office), respectively.

Mr. Zhang received a bachelor’s degree in English in 2017 from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, after which he attended Koguan Law School, Shanghai Jiao Tong University for further studies and obtained a Juris Master degree in 2021.  Mr. Zhang also holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
