Prior to joining Han Kun, Mr. Yan had worked for many years in the Shanghai and Beijing offices of Clifford Chance LLP. Mr. Yan has long been engaged in cross-border banking financing transactions, including acquisition finance, project finance, margin finance, and big-ticket assets finance (such as aircraft and ships). In addition, he has advised onshore and offshore banks, insurance entities, funds, payment service providers and multi-national companies on a wide range of matters, including establishing a local presence, mergers and acquisitions, financial regulations, product launches, financial innovation, and fintech.
