On May 13, 2017, the Law Society of Hong Kong held the 110th jubilee celebrations dinner at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. Han Kun sponsored and had representatives attended the dinner. The dinner was preceded by a day-long conference entitled “The Belt and Road: A Catalyst for Connectivity, Convergence and Collaboration”. Representatives from 23 overseas jurisdiction exchange their views of the conference on how lawyers can capitalize on the opportunities arising from the Belt and Road initiative. The dinner attracted 1,200 guests, including the Honorable Chief Justice Geoffrey Ma, the Secretary for Justice Rimsky Yuen, China Law (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd., Association of China-appointed Attesting Officers Limited, China Company Association, etc.
