James Yong Wang, Esq. of Han Kun Served as Expert Judge for LPACN's 2016 GP Summit

James Yong Wang, Esq. recently served as an expert judge on the review committee for the 2016 GP Summit of Limited Partners Association of China that conducted hypothetical reviews on the fundraising cases of a number of selected PRC managers that plan to raise offshore funds. The review committee is comprised of leading global LPs in offshore funds that are active in Asia, including funds of funds, pension funds, college endowments and family offices, and Mr. Wang is the only legal expert member on the review committee.

Mr. Wang has over thirteen years of experience in the investment funds industry in the US and China and formed several hundred USD and RMB funds across the globe. He has been consistently ranked by global legal directories such as Chambers, IFLR and Global Expert Guides for Banking, Finance and Transactional Law as a leader for investment funds. He is also a CFA and CAIA charterholder.
