China Business Law Journal (CBLJ) announced the "Top PRC law firms by value of M&A deals in China" in its September 2016 edition. Han Kun won this honor due to the outstanding performance of the firm's M&A practice.

China Business Law Journal's M&A ranking is based on announced deals from July 1, 2015 to July 31, 2016. In the past 12 months, Han Kun has been involved in many high-profile M&A deals, such as Uber China's merger with Didi Chuxing, JD.com's strategic partnership with Walmart, Baidu's partial exchange of its original equity ownership in Qunar with newly-issued shares of Ctrip, Kuaidi Dache's merger with Didi Dache, Meituan.com's strategic cooperation with Dianping.com, and 58.com's acquisition of an equity stake in Ganji.com.
