Han Kun Law Offices is pleased to announce the promotion of Rae Liu, Vivian He, Adrian Lv and Bing Xue from senior associate to counsel. These promotions became effective on January 1, 2016.
Ms. Rae Liu specializes in public and private financings (equity and debt), mergers and acquisitions, incorporation and corporate restructuring, foreign direct investment and public offshore offerings. She has represented many Chinese and international companies in a wide variety of cross-border transactions in different industries such as telecommunications, internet information technology, film, education, internet finance and healthcare. Ms. Liu is knowledgeable of PRC industry policies, corporate structures, capital operation, financial planning, and investment and project management.
Ms. Liu works primarily in the firm's Beijing office.
Ms. Vivian He specializes in contentious, non-contentious and transactional intellectual property issues in China, including strategic protection of IP portfolios, IP applications & registrations, trademarks, copyrights, business secrets, and unfair competition-related prosecution and administrative protection, IP licensing and technology transfers, Customs IP protection and border detention, brand protection and anti-counterfeiting, unfair competition, and domain name disputes. Ms. He also has solid experience in corporate practice and commercial contract dispute resolution.
Mr. Adrian Lv specializes in mergers and acquisitions, capital market transactions, venture capital and private equity, foreign direct investment, offshore investment, real estate development and operation, and general corporate matters. He has provided a wide range of legal services to various large/medium-sized state-owned/private enterprises, listed companies, commercial banks, multinational corporations, and private equity funds covering a range of industries, including finance, internet, energy, electrical appliances, transportation, real estate, construction, retail, garments, agricultural products, food, chemicals, medical devices, entertainment and high-tech. Mr. Lv has acted as the general counsel for many well-known domestic and overseas companies, and has accumulated rich practical experience in general corporate matters.
Mr. Bing Xue's practice focuses on venture capital and private equity, capital market transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and foreign direct investment, and taxation. Mr. Xue represents and handles legal issues for many investment funds, multinational companies, state-owned entities, start-ups and growth companies, listed companies, as well as technology research institutes. His clients cover a wide range of industries, including high-tech, electronic technology, life science and healthcare, environmental technology, telecommunications, internet, advertising, energy, metals, education, real estate, ecology, and wealth management.
Ms. He, Mr. Lv and Mr. Xue work primarily in the firm's Shenzhen office.
