Han Kun promotes three counsels to partner

Han Kun Law Offices is delighted to announce that three of the firm's counsels, Ying Yang, Loretta Li, and Jiang Wu have been promoted to partner, effective on 1 January 2016.
Ms. Ying Yang's practice focuses on venture capital and private equity, domestic and overseas capital markets, mergers and acquisitions and foreign direct investment. She has represented many venture capital and private equity funds in investing in Chinese companies and has advised private companies on their venture financing and securities offerings. Ms. Yang's clients cover a wide variety of industry sectors, including internet, telecommunications, e-commerce, healthcare, education, and clean energy. Ms. Yang also has rich experience in advising multinational companies on their investments in, and acquisitions of, assets or equity interests of Chinese companies.
Ms. Loretta Li specializes in public and private financings, VC/PE, foreign investment and M&A. She has represented many Chinese and international companies and funds in a wide variety of cross-border transactions in different industries such as telecommunications, internet, information technology, education, biotechnology, and pharmaceuticals. Ms. Li is knowledgeable of PRC industry policy, corporate structures, capital operations, financial planning, and investment and project management.
Ms. Yang and Ms. Li are based in the firm's Beijing office.
Mr. Jiang Wu has substantial experience in dispute resolution. Mr. Wu's dispute resolution practice focuses on commercial litigation and arbitration. He has extensive experience in general commercial disputes, shareholder and joint venture disputes, labor and employment disputes, and contentious regulatory disputes such as customs disputes.
Mr. Wu is based in the firm's Shanghai office.
