Han Kun gains IPR partner from Fangda

2015-09-09

Han Kun Law Offices is pleased to announce that it has attracted Mr. Wang Yan, a former partner of Fangda Partners to join Han Kun since September 2015.

Mr. Wang’s practice focuses on intellectual property dispute resolution. Mr. Wang also advises clients on their strategic intellectual property licensing matters, including many cross-border licenses.

Through the years, Mr. Wang worked on a variety of disputes relating to patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, standard related issues, and antitrust issues. Regarding the technologies, his work covered a vast spectrum of technology fields such as chemistry, petro chemistry, semiconductors, computer software, electronics, communications, cryptology, medical devices, and biological sciences.

Before joining Han Kun, Mr. Wang worked as a partner at Fangda Partners for three years. When he was in the States, he served at Broadcom as a Sr. Counsel, and worked at Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP and MoFo for many years.

Mr. Wang is based in Han Kun's Beijing Office.
