Han Kun welcomes 8 new partners to its Shanghai office

Han Kun Law Offices is pleased to announce that 8 new partners will be joining our Shanghai office from AllBright Law Offices beginning in September, 2015. The partners are David Tang, James Miao, Andy Liao, Michael Mao, David Huang, Jun Li, Min Zhu and Will Huang.
David Tang focuses his practice on general corporate and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Tang has advised numerous Fortune 500 Global and other multinational and foreign companies on their cross-border transactions, investments, acquisitions and daily business operations in China as well as domestic companies' outbound mergers and acquisitions and overseas financing projects.
James Miao concentrates his practice on the areas of banking and finance, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters. He has a wealth of experience in advising commercial banks and other financial institutions on their cross-border and domestic financial transactions and financial products and services launched in China. Mr. Miao also advises domestic and multinational companies on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and other commercial transactions in a number of different industries.
Andy Liao specializes in dispute resolution and mergers and acquisitions. He has successfully represented international and domestic clients in litigation and arbitration cases relating to purchase and sales contracts, share transfers, incorporation and joint ventures, product liability, commercial property leasing, trademark and copyright infringement, and employment disputes. He also has abundant experience in the formation of foreign-invested enterprises and cross-border mergers and acquisitions.
Michael Mao focuses his practice on foreign direct investment, general corporate and mergers and acquisitions. He has extensive experience in advising foreign companies, particularly Korean companies, on their Chinese investments and operations. In addition to English, Mr. Mao also speaks fluent Korean and has worked for several Korean companies.
David Huang has extensive experience in the areas of construction and general corporate. He has advised numerous domestic and multinational companies in business matters such as the construction of factories, residential and office buildings, corporate restructurings, private equity financing and joint ventures. Mr. Huang is also experienced in securities transactions which include initial public offerings, the issuance of corporate bonds and other debt instruments, equity division reforms, and stock incentive plans.
Will Huang provides a wide range of legal services in his labor law practice, including employment terminations and layoffs, non-competition matters, the protection of commercial trade secrets, wage and stock incentive plans, internal compliance investigations, labor strike settlements and commercial bribery. In addition, Mr. Huang has extensive experience in handling international commercial, shipping and maritime litigation and commercial arbitration.
Jun Li's primary practice areas include corporate financing and investing, and various cross-border transactions and acquisitions by both foreign and domestic parties. She has served as outside counsel for both multinational and Chinese enterprises in a variety of industries. Ms. Li has also worked as in-house counsel for three years and is well-experienced in working with business and operational teams.
Min Zhu focuses on foreign direct investment, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings and private equity investment. He has provided legal services for dozens of multinational corporations, foreign companies and Chinese companies with respect to their establishment, domestic and overseas investments, and dispute resolution. Mr. Zhu also enjoys expertise in the field of food, drug, and medical device regulation and compliance.
