Han Kun and Partner Charles Li included in the ALB China Power List 2015

Asian Legal Business recently published ALB China Power List 2015, listing 10 most influential law firms and lawyers in the country respectively. Han Kun Law Offices and its Partner Charles Li are honored to be included in this list based on their exceptional performance in 2014.
In 2014, Han Kun was involved in Debt Market Deal of the Year with Baidu's $1 billion 5 year 3.250 percent USD senior notes and M&A Deal of the Year with Baidu's acquisition of 91 Wireless. Other award-winning deals that Han Kun was involved in last year included Baidu’s Acquisition of 91 Wireless and its bond offering, as well as the privatization of AsiaInfo-Linkage Inc.
It was based on such achievement that Han Kun was nominated for 2014 M&A/ Private Equity Law Firm of the Year, Beijing Law Firm of the Year, China Law Firm of the Year, and Dealmaker of the Year.
For years Han Kun has established itself as a boutique firm with only three offices in China and in late 2014expanded its ambition globally by opening the new Hong Kong office. Efforts toboost its antitrust practice were also fruitful with the hire of partner MaChen in 2014.
In the same year, Charles Li and his team were involved in a number of significant deals related to Baidu, advising or representing it on acquisitions and note offering, two of which were named Debt Market Deal of the Year and M&A Deal of the Year. Li, as a result, was nominated for Dealmaker of the Year.
