Han Kun Law Offices is pleased to announce that it has attracted Mike Chiang to join Han Kun as a senior counsel. Mike Chiang has extensive experience in transactional and dispute resolution matters.
Mike has represented many clients in joint ventures, venture capital and private equity investments, mergers and acquisitions, inbound and outbound investments, technology transfers, and sales and distribution transactions.
Mike also has extensive experience handling arbitration and litigation matters. Mike has assisted clients in handling many domestic and international arbitrations, including CIETAC, ICC and HKIAC arbitrations. Mike has also assisted clients in several U.S. and U.K. litigation matters. Mike has taught "Cross-Border Disputes Resolution" as an adjunct assistant professor at several universities for many years and he also frequently speaks on the relevant topics.
Mike Chiang received his LL.B. degree from Chinese Culture University in Taiwan in 1988, and his LL.M. and J.D. degrees from University of Notre Dame in 1991 and 1995 respectively. Mike Chiang is a member of the New York and California Bars. After graduation from Notre Dame, Mike Chiang practiced law in California from 1995 to 1998. From 1998 to 2005, Mike worked with Jones Day's Taipei office. From 2005 to September 2013, Mike worked with AllBright Law Offices in Shanghai.
Mike is based in Han Kun's Shanghai Office.
