Han Kun Law Offices Partner James Yong Wang was featured in an Asian Venture Capital Journal ("AVCJ") cover story entitled "Asian Advocacy" on February 5, 2013.

The article discusses government attempts to regulate the PE industry in the PRC and other Asian countries.

Regarding the battle between China's regulators over the right to govern domestic private equity discussed in the article, Mr. Wang is quoted as saying the following:

"On the one hand, less onerous regulation is good for the industry, and participants prefer not to be subject to a second set of rules in addition to those laid down by the NDRC." "On the other hand, they don't want to cut ties to the CSRC. PE firms have traditionally relied on IPOs as their main exit channel."
