Han Kun represents ICBC Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. ("ICBC Leasing") in Chinese domestic leasing company's first Airbus A380 financing lease project in China

2013-03-06

ICBC Leasing used a project company established in the Dongjiang Free Trade Port Zone of Tianjin as the Lessor and China Southern Airlines Company Limited ("CSA") is the Lessee. The aircraft was successfully delivered to CSA in Toulouse, France on February 28, 2013.

This transaction represents the first Airbus A380 financing lease project ever done by a Chinese domestic leasing company.

The Airbus A380 is the world's largest passenger airliner with a length of 72.73 meters, a wingspan of 79.15 meters, a height of 24.07 meters, and a maximum flying range of 15,000 kilometers. Currently, CSA is the seventh airline in the world to operate A380s.
