The wholly owned polysilicon manufacturing subsidiaries of LDK Solar Co., Ltd. have consummated the USD240,000,000 investment from the affiliate of China Development Bank Capital Corporation Ltd. and some other investors.

Han Kun represented China Development Bank Capital Corporation Ltd. and its affiliate and provided relevant legal service in this private equity investment.

During this transaction, Han Kun primarily conducted due diligence, provided legal advice, prepared various financing documents and participated in negotiation process.

LDK Solar Co., Ltd. (NYSE: LDK) is a leading vertically integrated manufacturer of photovoltaic (PV) and polysilicon products. Its headquarters and principal manufacturing facilities are located in Xinyu City, Jiangxi Province in the People's Republic of China.

The leading lawyers involved in this deal are Dafei Chen, Tracy Zhou, Matthew Huang, Irene Cai and Guanglei Zhang.
