During this past July, Han Kun Law Offices achieved another milestone in the firm's growth and development: the firm established its Shanghai Office and fully launched its business in one of the most dynamic cities of China.

On July 16, 2009 the firm gave a warm reception to celebrate the establishment of its Shanghai Office at the Shanghai JC Mandarin Hotel. More than 300 guests from government departments, corporations, the financial sector and the legal community attended the reception. Our reception provided an excellent opportunity for our partners and lawyers to engage in an in depth exchange of views with our guests, including ideas about the firm's experience in previous projects and leading practices in relevant areas, and the prospect of the Shanghai Office's continuation of the firm's dedicated services and its motto of "China Practice, Global Vision".

Since its establishment in 2004, Han Kun Law Offices has developed into a full-services law firm specializing in large and medium scale cross-border investment and financing transactions.
