Ms. Wang has nearly 22 years of experience in intellectual property matters. Specializing in patent litigation and non-litigation matters in the pharmaceutical, biological and chemical fields, Ms. Wang has presided over more than 1,000 cases involving substantive examination, reexamination and invalidation of patents. She has successfully handled dozens of patent administrative litigation cases. She is particularly experienced in coordinating parallel patent invalidation, infringement, grant and patent linkage, and is well regarded for handling complex patent disputes involving novel and cutting-edge legal issues. Her practice also covers IP project management, patent term extension for pharmaceuticals, and IP due diligence for licensing, transactions and IPO projects. She regularly advises clients on the development and implementation of comprehensive intellectual property strategies.
Prior to joining Han Kun Law Offices, Ms. Wang worked in the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Examination Department and the Patent Reexamination Board of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA). She subsequently worked at a leading Chinese law firm and later served for the intellectual property department of a world-renowned multinational pharmaceutical company.
Ms. Wang will work closely with partners specializing in intellectual property, life sciences, and healthcare to further advance the firm's development in areas such as patent invalidation, infringement litigation, patent linkage, patent term extension for pharmaceuticals, and IP strategy services, continuously enhancing the firm's comprehensive service capabilities and market influence in these fields.
