On April 30, 2026, the Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (SHIAC) announced its newly updated Panel of Arbitrators, effective from May 1, 2026. SHIAC appointed eight Han Kun partners for the new term: Mr. David Gu, Ms. Christine Kang, Mr. Jianhui Li, Mr. Andy Liao, Mr. Zeda Lin, Mr. Wei Sun, Mr. Feng Ye, and Mr. Eric Zhang (in alphabetical order by surname).
David Gu

David Gu specializes in complex commercial dispute resolution, with a focus on commercial arbitration and foreign-related or cross-border commercial dispute resolution. He has represented large Chinese business entities and multinational companies to participate in domestic and international arbitration proceedings administered under the rules of ICC Court of Arbitration, LCIA, HKIAC, SIAC, SCC Court of Arbitration, Swiss Arbitration Court, CIETAC, and BAC, among others. Mr. Gu has represented clients in a wide array of commercial cases, including international business transaction disputes, IP licensing disputes, public infrastructure and construction disputes, Sino-foreign JV and corporate shareholding disputes (cross border M&A and investment funds), financial derivative disputes, as well as cross border asset tracing. Christine is widely recognized for her abundant arbitration experience and has been invited to serve as a member of the Council of AAA, the AAA-ICDR Rules Revision Committee, AAA Asia Advisory Committee, the WIPO International Advisory Committee, as well as the HKIAC Proceedings Committee. She has served as a presiding arbitrator, sole arbitrator, and party-nominated arbitrator in a variety of arbitration cases and is listed as an arbitrator on the panels of world major international arbitration institutions, including AAA, HKIAC, JAMS, SIAC, ICC, LCIA, WIPO, CIETAC, BAC, SHIAC, SCIA, and Guangdong-HK-Macao GBA.
Jianhui Li

Mr. Li's practice focuses on onshore and offshore capital markets, venture capital and private equity investment, mergers and acquisitions, as well as dispute resolution in related areas.
