The Company Law of the People's Republic of China (the "New Company Law") has attracted widespread public attention since becoming effective on July 1, 2024. Recently, Han Kun partner Zhu Qimin was invited to record a training course on the New Company Law at the Entrepreneur Training Center of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (the "Training Center"). In this course, Mr. Zhu interpreted the history and background of the amendment, the main contents of the amendment, the impact of relevant amendments on the practice of commercial dispute resolution, as well as enterprise compliance management, etc. This is the second time that Mr. Zhu has been invited to participate in recording a course as an instructor at the Training Center. In 2023, Mr. Zhu also provided to the Training Center a legal training course on equity investment valuation adjustment mechanisms.
The Training Center, founded in 2001, is a public institution legal person sponsored by the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (the "SZSE"). As an important component to carry out market services of the SZSE, the Training Center focuses on the standardized operation and innovation and growth needs of Shenzhen listed companies, pre-IPO enterprises, and other market participants, and integrates service resources from all parties in the market, thereby building a non-profit training, cultivation, and exchange platform based on the SZSE's innovation capital ecosystem.
