Artificial Intelligence Generated Content ("AIGC") is a great leap forward in the development of Artificial Intelligence ("AI") technology. AIGC can generate a variety of content including articles, images, audio, video and so on according to the input conditions by training the model and learning a large number of data, and then solve the tasks of the real scene in different fields.
As a milestone AI technology for human productivity, AIGC has attracted wide attention from the global industrial community. Developing and perfecting the capabilities of AIGC and applying it to various vertical sectors including technology, healthcare, finance, transportation and law has become a key project for companies and a hot track for entrepreneurship. In the meantime, legislators and regulators from various parts of the world have also noticed the disjointed regulation of AIGC under the current laws and regulations. Due to AIGC's generative characteristics and open source model, the development model based on datasets, existing laws and regulations concerning artificial intelligence, intellectual property and data compliance cannot fully address the regulatory challenges brought about by its rapid development. In view of this, various policies and regulations regarding AIGC have been introduced in succession by various countries and regions to improve the existing laws and regulatory systems and avoid the uncertain impact of regulatory vacuum on the development of technology.
This bluebook aims to sort out and summarize AIGC regulatory regimes in major regions in the world, and from the perspectives of regulatory compliance, intellectual property, data compliance, open source compliance, classic financing and M&A cases, typical corporate structure design, typical AIGC -related litigation and common AIGC platform agreements, provide preliminary guidelines for the development, application, financing, M&A, promotion, etc. of AIGC in different jurisdictions.
