Mr. Chen has been practicing law since 2006 and has handled a significant number of high-profile criminal defense and criminal compliance cases, particularly in areas such as duty-related crimes, securities offenses, and economic crimes. With two decades of dedicated experience in criminal defense and criminal compliance, Mr. Chen handles a broad spectrum of offenses under the specific provisions of the PRC Criminal Law, including graft, bribery, dereliction of duty, property infringement, and violations of citizens' personal rights. He provides full-spectrum legal support across all stages of criminal proceedings—from investigation and prosecution to trial—in matters involving supervisory commissions, public security authorities, procuratorates, and courts.
Through his work on major cases in the areas of duty-related, securities, and economic crimes, Mr. Chen has accumulated substantial experience and valuable resources. He is also recognized as one of the early pioneers in China in researching and providing corporate criminal compliance legal services. He has offered criminal legal services to numerous well-known enterprises, entrepreneurs, and listed company executives, achieving results that satisfy his clients.
Beyond his core practice in criminal law, Mr. Chen has substantial experience serving clients in sectors such as finance and capital markets, high-tech industries, internet-based businesses, and cultural entertainment.

Mr. Chen graduated from Peking University. Prior to joining Han Kun, he served as a senior partner, a member of the management committee, and the head of a branch office at another leading law firm.
