Mr. Teoh (Evan) was called to the Singapore Bar in 2019 and trained and worked with Duane Morris & Selvam LLP for 4 years before joining Han Kun in 2023. His areas of specialisation include domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity investments, venture capital and venture debt (including SAFEs), fund formation and licensing, and cryptocurrency and payment services (transactional and regulatory). His other areas of focus include general corporate commercial matters, such as reviewing and advising on distribution and supply agreements or services agreements, website/platform terms and conditions and privacy policies, and providing employment law advice and documentation (share option plans, employment agreements). He advises clients in a wide range of industries, including banking and finance, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, fintech, energy, and oil and gas, primarily in Asian markets such as Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Myanmar, Hong Kong, China, Korea, and Singapore.
