Ms. Cao joined Han Kun Law Offices in April 2021, prior to which she practiced with China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. as a patent agent for five years. In 2019, she trained in an EP patent law and practice training program provided by KUHNEN & WACKER Intellectual Property Law Firm.
Ms. Cao's practice focuses on IP law, including patent prosecution, reexamination, invalidation actions, patent search, and other IP-related counseling. Her practice primarily involves technical fields such as mechanical equipment, automation control, precision instruments, lighting devices, robotics, artificial intelligence, automobiles, and medical equipment. Ms. Cao has helped numerous world-renowned companies on patent prosecution and examination in China, the United States, Europe, Russia, and Southeast Asia, and has provided them with valuable advice for their patent prosecutions. She has also provided clients with patent landscaping, freedom-to-operate analysis, infringement analysis, and pre-litigation preparation.
