Before joining Han Kun Law Offices, Mr. Gao interned at Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (Shanghai International Arbitration Center) and the financial trial division of Shanghai Pudong New District People's Court, where he participated in the management of multiple arbitration and litigation cases. Mr. Gao also interned at the Shanghai Office of Jones Day and was involved in legal research related to foreign direct investment and cross-border mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Gao specializes in civil and commercial dispute resolution, including litigation, arbitration, enforcement and bankruptcy. Mr. Gao has represented or assisted clients before the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, and domestic courts such as Beijing Financial Court, Shanghai Financial Court, etc., in various civil and commercial cases which mainly cover contractual disputes involving loan contracts, financing lease contracts, technology service contracts, energy management contracts, etc., and disputes related to the corporate involving equity transfer/redemption, shareholders' right to know, and responsibility for damaging shareholders' interests.
