Professionals Tianyi Yu

Work experience

Ms. Yu specializes in the formation and operation of RMB and USD investment funds and AMAC registrations and filings of private fund managers and investment funds.  Prior to joining Han Kun, Ms. Yu worked for another PRC law firm where she advised clients on A-share IPO, PE/VC, fund formation, and general corporate matters.  She also worked for XPeng Motors as an in-house counsel.

Educational background

Ms. Yu received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Renmin University of China in 2015 and a Master of Management Studies degree from Duke University in 2016.  In 2018, she received a full scholarship from Washington University School of Law and received a Juris Doctor degree in 2021.
