Work experience

Mr. Long specializes in labor and employment law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate compliance, and general corporate matters.  He has represented domestic and foreign investment institutions, multinational corporations, publicly listed companies, and state-owned enterprises, spanning industries such as biotechnology, artificial intelligence, and traditional manufacturing.
In labor and employment law, Mr. Long has provided compliance due diligence, personnel optimization, and large-scale layoff services to numerous domestic and foreign companies.  His work includes conducting due diligence, drafting reports, designing and implementing solutions, as well as offering legal consultations and negotiations, which have been highly praised by clients.
In mergers and acquisitions, Mr. Long has been involved in various domestic and cross-border transactions, accumulating extensive practical experience in structuring deals, conducting legal due diligence, drafting transaction documents, and leading negotiations.
In corporate compliance, Mr. Long has advised on a wide range of matters, including anti-bribery, data protection, import and export controls, antitrust, and unfair competition.
Prior to joining Han Kun Law Offices, Mr. Long worked in the Beijing office of Zhong Lun Law Firm.

Educational background

Mr. Long holds a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese (2017) and an LL.M. degree (2020) from Peking University.
He also spent a year as an exchange student at Hokkaido University in Japan (September 2015 – August 2016).
Additionally, Mr. Long completed the Research Direction in Human Rights Master Program at Peking University, which was jointly organized by the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law at Lund University, Sweden, earning a certificate of completion.
