Mr. Fitzpatrick focuses on compliance and risk management.  He assists foreign investors to navigate the complexities of doing business in China, particularly with respect to corporate compliance, data protection, and contract and document reviews.  Mr. Fitzpatrick has worked with clients in the consulting, technology, retail, and automotive industries, among others.
Mr. Fitzpatrick also advises clients on U.S. tax matters, including with respect to non-resident investment, pre-immigration planning, and U.S. expatriate taxation.
Prior to joining Han Kun, Mr. Fitzpatrick was a foreign legal consultant at AllBright Law Offices in Shanghai.  He is also a U.S. certified public accountant and has previous Big 4 public accounting experience in the United States.

Mr. Fitzpatrick graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in 2005 with a B.S. in Accounting & International Business (cum laude) and a B.A. in Japanese.  He later earned his J.D. from the University of North Carolina in 2010.
