Ms. Chu is experienced in infringement litigation and invalidation proceedings of standard essential patents (SEPs) in the fields of telecommunications, audio, and video codec, etc., and has handled many influential cases.
Ms. Chu has assisted many globally renowned companies to obtain patents in China and has provided them with valuable advice for patent prosecution strategies in China. Ms. Chu has also helped numerous Chinese companies obtain patents in Europe, the United States, and other jurisdictions.
Prior to joining Han Kun, Ms. Chu practiced as a patent agent for four years at Liu, Shen & Associates, at China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. as a senior patent agent for nine years, and at a top-tier European law firm as a senior patent counsel for one year.
