Mr. Zhang specializes in domestic and international capital markets, private equity and venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, foreign direct investments, and corporate restructuring and global expansions. He provides a wide range of legal services for many leading private enterprises, outbound companies, multinational companies, domestic and international listed companies, large state-owned enterprises and well-known investment funds.
Mr. Zhang has represented clients in the handling of many projects including domestic and international IPOs and follow-on offerings, private equity investments and financings, mergers and acquisitions, group restructuring, bond issuance and asset-back securitization and the general corporate matters, covering industries such as semiconductors, advanced equipment, batteries and energy storage, new energy generation, unmanned aerial vehicles, automatic driving, internet of things, industrial and household robots, AI, software, gaming and entertainment, life science and health, education, tobacco, telecommunications, non-performing asset management, real estate, human resource management, and cosmetics. Mr. Zhang handles legal matters including transactional structure design and demonstration, spotting and handling of key legal issues, draft and revision of key legal documents, complex transaction negotiation, and legal research involving various aspects of PRC laws and policies.
Mr. Zhang has been practicing law since 2012, and prior to joining Han Kun, he practiced in the Beijing office of a well-known PRC law firm and the China headquarters of a German multinational automobile group.
