Before joining Han Kun, she worked at Clifford Chance and Allen & Overy for many years. Yin obtained an LL.M. degree with Honor from Cornell Law School. She is admitted to the New York State Bar and PRC Bar.
As a counsel, Yin's clients include the world’s largest asset managers, asset allocators, financial institutions, trading firms, trading platforms and exchanges. Yin has also been consulted by financial regulators in different jurisdictions and involved in advising on legislation and regulation of China's asset management and financial sectors.
Yin is an Asia-Pacific Leading Counsel recognized by Legal 500 for Investment Funds and Banking & Finance areas. She has been awarded as China's Top 15 Asset Management Lawyers for 2021 by LEGALBAND, China's Best Female Lawyers for 2021 by Asian Legal Business/ALB, and China's Top 15 Female Lawyers for 2021 by LEGALBAND. Yin is the founder of HerGrowth, the biggest and most influential women empowerment organization in China's finance communities. She also sits on the committee of Women in Arbitration of the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre. She has served as board member and supervisor for Teach for China foundation for many years.
