Work experience

Mr. Zhang specializes in the formation and operation of private equity funds.  His legal services include the registering of private investment fund managers, the filing of private investment funds, drafting and reviewing transaction documents, legal due diligence, and legal research on various aspects of PRC laws and policies.  Mr. Zhang is experienced in representing state-owned enterprises, securities companies, insurance institutions, industry investors and private fund managers in raising private investment funds, fund investment, and asset management, and is familiar with fund structures and terms.  Mr. Zhang also provides perennial legal services to many funds of funds, financial institutions, and other private fund managers.

Educational background

Mr. Zhang graduated from China Foreign Affairs University with an LL.B. (Bachelor of Law) degree, and received his LL.M. (Master of Law) degree from the University of Hong Kong.
