Work experience

Prior to joining Han Kun, Mr. Wang practiced for several years with two other leading law firms in China.  Mr. Wang has advised leading private equity funds, venture capital funds and companies at varying stages of development on more than one hundred equity transactions and relevant legal matters, including equity investments, mergers and acquisitions, group structure reorganizations, listings on mainland China, Hong Kong and U.S. stock exchanges, investment exits, etc.  Mr. Wang has been significantly involved in the formation of several venture capital funds and their post-investment legal matters, and has advised many China companies on a variety of general corporate matters.  Mr. Wang has gained broad experience as legal counsel in industries including life sciences and healthcare, education, and TMT.

Educational background

Mr. Wang received an LL.B. degree (minor in Accounting) from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2013.  He also received an LL.M degree in corporate law from New York University School of Law in 2017.
