Mr. Chen Xianglin specializes in commercial arbitration and cross-border commercial dispute resolution, with nearly twenty years of professional experience. He has extensive experience representing foreign clients and multinational companies in commercial disputes related to China, as well as representing large domestic companies in international commercial disputes. The major cases handled by Mr. Chen involve areas such as investment and financing disputes, joint venture disputes, biopharmaceutical disputes, product liability disputes, and public crisis management.
Before joining Han Kun Law Offices, Mr. Chen worked for ten years in the Dispute Resolution Group at King & Wood Mallesons in Beijing. He has represented domestic and international clients in numerous arbitration cases at well-known arbitration institutions such as SIAC, HKIAC, AAA, ICC, CIETAC, BAC, SHIAC, and SCIA, among others. Additionally, Mr. Chen has represented many multinational companies and large state-owned enterprises in numerous litigation cases at the Supreme People's Court of China and local people's courts at various levels.
Mr. Chen is an accredited/recommended arbitrator with several well-known domestic and international arbitration institutions, including HKIAC, CIETAC, SCIA, and CMAC. He has served as a chief arbitrator and sole arbitrator in a large number of cases.
Mr. Chen was one of the first lawyers to be included in the Ministry of Justice's "National Thousand Foreign-related Lawyer Talent Pool" and is a member of the Beijing Lawyers Association's "Capital Foreign-related Lawyers Training Camp."
