Work experience

Mr. Cao has been working in Han Kun Law Offices since 2017.  Prior to joining Han Kun Law Offices, Mr. Cao worked as an associate with Global Law Offices (Beijing), Jun He Law Offices (Beijing), and Global Law Offices (Shanghai).  Mr. Cao’s experience focuses on private equity and venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate restructuring matters.  Mr. Cao advises clients on transaction structures, private equity and venture capital closing procedures, and M&A and corporate restructuring transactions, and also conducts due diligence and drafts and reviews transaction documents.  Mr. Cao also advises on general corporate matters, fund raising, and private wealth management matters.

Educational background

Mr. Cao received a Bachelor of Law degree in 2009 from East China University of Political Science and Law.  In 2010, he obtained an LL.M. degree from Vanderbilt University.
