Work experience

Before joining Han Kun in October 2012, Ms. Wang worked with the Banking and Finance team of King & Wood in Beijing for over twelve years. 
Ms. Wang has advised a large number of domestic and foreign banks in connection with various types of private and corporate banking services, as well as foreign exchange related services.  In particular, Ms. Wang has extensive experience in advising domestic and foreign banks on legal issues relating to China market access for new products, as well as other PRC compliance issues that foreign banks must deal with in their daily operations in China, including assistance in the drafting or revising of standard banking documentation.  Ms. Wang also has expertise in the establishment of domestic and foreign banks and financial institutions. 
Ms. Wang has advised a number of domestic banks, foreign banks, and different types of companies in various types of domestic and international financing transactions, such as general commercial loans, syndicated loans, project financing, export credit, consumer credit, trade financing, non-performing loan restructuring, accounts receivable financing, and asset securitization. 
Ms. Wang has advised a large number of domestic and foreign aircraft leasing companies, commercial banks and domestic airlines in their leasing and financing of aircraft and aviation equipment.  She has been involved in almost all types of transactions such as operating leases, finance leases, sale and lease-backs, China bonded zone leasing, JOLs and French tax leasing.  These transactions involve almost all domestic airlines' leasing and financing of hundreds of aircraft, including Boeing, Airbus, private jets, and helicopters.  Ms. Wang has also advised many Chinese companies and individuals in the purchase and import of private jets from overseas.

Educational background

Ms. Wang received a bachelor's degree in International Economic Law from the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) in 2000 and an LL.M. degree from Duke University School of Law in 2010.
