Mr. Zhang Yaxing specializes in dispute resolution pertaining to investment, financing, and corporate disputes. Mr. Zhang has extensive practical experience in resolving disputes arising from investment and financing agreements, share transfers, convertible bonds and other transactions, as well as legal issues relating to control rights, information rights, validity of resolutions, dissolution, and directors' and officers' liability of companies and partnerships. In addition, Mr. Zhang has successfully handled numerous cases involving disputes over contract breach, share repurchase and winding-up under red-chip structures, accumulating rich experience in connecting and coordinating litigation, arbitration, and the recognition and enforcement of judgment proceedings across various jurisdictions.
Mr. Zhang has also handled several asset management and false statement cases, some of which have become influential benchmark cases. Mr. Zhang also has in-depth knowledge and practical experience in fund investment project exits, corporate dissolution, liquidation, and bankruptcy proceedings, having assisted numerous clients in achieving investment exits or bankruptcy protection.
Based on experience gained during his judicial tenure, Mr. Zhang is well-acquainted with the court workflow and judicial reasoning, and he is able to organize evidence and formulate case strategies accordingly to achieve optimal results efficiently. In addition to regular trial procedures, he is highly skilled in the application and release of property preservation, compulsory enforcement, and related compulsory measures before the people's courts.
Prior to joining Han Kun, Mr. Zhang had worked for a court in Beijing from 2001 to 2008. He later practiced law with a reputable local law firm from 2011 to 2013 before joining Han Kun in May 2013.
