Before joining Han Kun, Ms. Zhou practiced law at another well-known law firm in China and worked in a law firm located in New York, the United States. Her main practice areas include the formation and operation of onshore and offshore investment funds and private equity and venture capital.
Ms. Zhou has participated in the formation of various domestic private equity investment funds, private venture capital funds as well as several offshore USD-denominated private funds, and has provided operation and management services and compliance consultations to various foreign and domestic private fund management institutions. Ms. Zhou has also provided due diligence investigation services for several funds of funds. Meanwhile, Ms. Zhou has provided legal services for several fund management institutions in respect of their changes of material matters in the AMBERS System. In addition, Ms. Zhou has participated in the formation of and investments by many trusts, domestic PE/VC investments, investments by real estate funds, and investments involving VIE structures.
