Work experience

Before joining in Han Kun in February 2022, Mr. Ye had practiced law since 2012 with Shanghai Young-Ben Law Firm.  Mr. Ye is outstanding at providing all-round solutions for dispute cases and has profound legal theoretical foundation and extensive practice experience. 
Mr. Ye is specialized in dealing with complicated dispute cases, mainly involving advertising and media, intellectual property rights protection, and finance and asset management.  Mr. Ye has represented a number of famous foreign and domestic enterprises in handling different types of litigation and arbitration cases, including advertising companies in WPP Group, Citic Bank, Zhong An Insurance, Exide Group, Yuewen Group, Parkson Group, and Jinjiang International Hotel Management Company.
Mr. Ye has particularly extensive experience in the fields of copyright law, trademark law, and unfair competition.  Mr. Ye has represented Zhong An Insurance to apply for invalidation of the trademark maliciously registered by a third party and provided a formal legal opinion related for trademark issues in connection with Zhong An Insurance's IPO in Hong Kong; provided legal services to New Guomai Digital Culture (Stock Code: 600640 SH) by reviewing the ownership and license chain of the copyrights of imported movies and VR games; represented Exide Group to sue GERMANY SUNSHINE GROUP LIMITED and its subsidiaries for the trademark infringement and unfair competition (selected and compiled into the Casebook Collection on Foreign-related Legal Services in Shanghai); represented Jinjiang International Hotel Management Company in suing Xinyang Taiyan Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. for trademark infringement and unfair competition.
Mr. Ye has also represented CITIC Bank Shanghai Branch in a series of cases related to finance loan agreements; represented a renowned private security fund, successfully dealing with the dispute of fund manager's remuneration based on the "share method" between the fund and Ms. Jiang, who was supported by China Securities Investor Services Center; and provided a full range of legal services to certain fund companies on the formulation of early warning plans before the outbreak of risk events, the formulation of payment and resolution plans, and communications with regulatory authorities and investors after the outbreak of the events.

Educational background

Mr. Ye obtained an LL.B. degree in 2009 and an LL.M. degree in 2012 from East China University of Political Science and Law.  Mr. Ye also received a B.A. degree from Shanghai International Studies University in 2009.
