Work experience

Prior to joining Han Kun, Ms. Yao interned with China Merchants Securities and Grandall Law Firm.  Ms. Yao specializes in PE/VC, mergers and acquisitions, foreign direct investment, general corporate, and capital markets.  Her practice covers industries such as the internet, new and high technology, finance, new energy, and culture and entertainment.  Ms. Yao's legal services include conducting legal due diligence, legal research, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and designing deal structures.

Educational background

Ms. Yao received her LL.M. degree from The University of Hong Kong in 2021.  Prior to that, she received her Bachelor of Law degree from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies.
