Work experience

Ms. Xia specializes in the formation and operation of private equity funds.  Her legal services include the registering of private investment fund managers, the filing of private investment funds, drafting and reviewing transaction documents, legal due diligence, and legal research on various aspects of PRC laws and policies.  Ms. Xia is experienced in representing state-owned enterprises, securities companies, insurance institutions, industry investors and private fund managers in raising private investment funds, fund investment, and asset management, and is familiar with fund structures and terms.  
Prior to joining Han Kun Law Offices, Ms. Xia interned with King & Wood Mallesons.

Educational background

Ms. Xia completed a dual degree program for Law and English at Beijing Foreign Studies University, and was conferred an LL.B. degree and a B.A. in English.
