Prior to joining Han Kun Law Offices, Ms. Zhao practiced law in the Shanghai office of King & Wood Mallesons, the Beijing office of Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP, and the Shanghai office of Jones Day Law Firm.
Ms. Zhao advises foreign and domestic clients on a broad range of corporate matters, including cross-border mergers and acquisitions, foreign direct investments, joint ventures, and other general corporate matters. Ms. Zhao has also represented Chinese state-owned enterprises and private companies in outbound investments. In addition, Ms. Zhao advises early-stage companies on their venture equity financings and has provided legal services to prestigious private equity funds, venture capital funds, and strategic investors.
