Mr. Xie's practice focuses on patent law, including patent prosecution, reexamination, invalidation, and other IP-related counseling.
Mr. Xie has helped many renowned global companies to obtain valuable patents in China, providing legal services such as forwarding office actions, preparing responses to office actions, patentability searches, and consulting. His practice primarily involves industries such as computer technology, big data processing, e-commerce, Internet and telecommunications technology, etc. Mr. Xie's long-term clients include Samsung, Google, SAP, Sony, Paypal, ARM, Apple, HPE, among others.
Before joining Han Kun Law Offices, Mr. Xie worked as a patent examiner for four years at the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), and as a patent agent for more than two years with Beijing East IP Ltd. and for nearly three years with Liu, Shen & Associates.
