Mr. Chen holds solid legal skills and specializes in commercial arbitration and litigation, particularly in disputes relating to domestic and international trade, investments, loans, and guarantees. He has represented and assisted both domestic and foreign clients on a variety of complex commercial disputes (including enforcement and enforcement objection) before the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), the Beijing Arbitration Commission (BAC), the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC), the American Arbitration Association (AAA), and PRC courts of different levels. His expertise covers a wide range of areas, including share transfers, share repurchases, sales contracts, service contracts, corporate governance, equity dispute under red-chip structures, and other types of contract and infringement disputes. Mr. Chen's clients include large state-owned enterprises, well-known foreign-funded companies, internet companies and well-known listed companies.
Mr. Chen also has extensive practical experience in the field of labor law. He has participated in handling various legal services including the preparation of enterprise rules and regulations, employment termination, non-compete matters, company trade secret protection, equity incentives, layoffs, enterprise closures, company compliance, and commercial bribery.
Prior to joining Han Kun, Mr. Chen practiced in several reputable local law firms and legal aid agencies.
