Prior to joining Han Kun Law Offices, Ms. San practiced law at a reputable law firm in Beijing.
Ms. San specializes in commercial arbitration and litigation and has a solid foundation in legal practice. She has advised both domestic and foreign clients on a wide variety of complex and challenging commercial disputes before the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), the Beijing Arbitration Commission (BAC), the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC), the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), and various levels of domestic courts, including the Supreme People's Court, focusing on areas such as equity transfer, financial loans, international trade, joint ventures, and real estate.
Ms. San also has extensive experience in coordinating complex cross-border disputes. She has been involved in controlling disputes over the ownership of a domestic real estate company and has handled several domestic and international litigation and arbitration cases in parallel across three jurisdictions. She has also represented investors and founders in resolving share redemption disputes under red-chip structures.
Additionally, Ms. San has also overseen cases involving enforcement objections, affirmation of the validity of arbitral agreements, recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards, as well as cases involving annulment and non-enforcement of arbitral awards.
